The Citrin Safety Foundation, Inc.

The Citrin Safety Foundation, Inc. is an Alabama Non-Profit Corporation created by Trial Attorney Andy Citrin after representing the family of 18 year old Braden Scott Bowers, who was senselessly killed in 2006 by a distracted driver. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to reduce traffic fatalities by publicly disseminating life-saving safety information in order to increase awareness and respect for basic safety rules. This is accomplished by offering free, creative and interactive safety classes to teen-age drivers, conducted by trained defensive driving instructors certified by the National Safety Council.

Three principles underlie the Foundation's Mission: (1) that all accidents are preventable when safety rules are followed; (2) that repetition is the mother of all learning; and, (3) that repeating basic safety rules will prevent fatal accidents.
